{ University of Virginia Wins Third District NSAC }

The Third District National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) was held Friday, April 25 at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Charlotte, NC. Eight teams from three states (NC, SC, VA) competed, with a challenge from the client, AOL, to increase usage of AIM among young people by at least 15%.

The winning team was University of Virginia, followed by University of South Carolina, Washington & Lee and University of North Carolina. UVA will continue on to compete at the National AAF Conference in Atlanta, GA on June 8-10, 2008. The schools that competed are UVA, USC, Washington & Lee, UNC, Appalachian, Radford, Liberty and Wake Forest.
