{ Nationally Acclaimed Tattoo Projects named 2012 AAF Charlotte ADDY Creative Partner }

October 21, 2011

(Charlotte, NC) – The American Advertising Federation of Charlotte kicked off the organization’s 2012 ADDY Awards competition today by naming local firm Tattoo Projects creative partner for the program.

The annual AAF Charlotte ADDY Awards competition recognizes advertising excellence in the greater Charlotte areas in all media including print, broadcast, out-of-home, interactive and public service advertising. Recently named Small Agency of the Year by Ad Age, Tattoo Projects will develop all campaign elements and drive the creative theme for Charlotte’s ADDY Awards.

Says Rudy Banny, creative director/partner of Tattoo Projects, “Before Buffy Kelly and I moved to Charlotte and started Tattoo Projects, our firm produced the ADDY Awards and developed the creative work to promote the show six times in Pennsylvania. We’re thrilled be part of the ADDY Awards again this year and to have the chance to celebrate all of the amazing creative work that’s taking place in Charlotte.”

President of AAF Charlotte, Beth Hernandez says, “Each year we look to stretch the framework for our local ADDY program which is consistently recognized as one of the best in the country. Tattoo Projects is joining a tradition of strong creative from local agencies such as Boone Oakley and Luquire George Andrews who have helped elevate the recognition of the local ADDYS through smart, sometimes edgy, campaigns. We can’t wait to see what direction Tattoo takes us in this year!”

AAF Charlotte’s ADDY Competition Call for Entries will open in mid-November and run through January 13, 2012. Visit this site for entry information and dates.
