Assistant Account Executive
Planet Central, a Charlotte, NC Advertising Agency, is looking to fill the position of Assistant Account Executive. We are looking for someone who is professional, driven, organized, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and can effectively prioritize jobs.
The Assistant Account Executive (AAE) provides assistance to the account team in the day-to-day management of accounts and should have a thorough understanding of the planning, creative and production process (heavily in print production).
Responsibilities of the AAE include:
Issuing job starts for new projects/tasks to enter the Agency workflow.
Routing layouts and proofs to the Agency team, and presenting layouts to the Client.
Proofreading copy, layouts, and vendor proofs with a very strong attention to detail.
Creating and keeping production timelines to ensure that projects proceed according to plan and deadlines, and drawing attention of the account team to potential problems before they occur.
Maintain job folders and/or digital archives for all assigned accounts, detailing past work and work-in-progress, and all pertinent information needed for accurate proofreading and budgeting.
Obtain production estimates from vendors, create and issue purchase orders, maintain budget and write up billing for assigned jobs.
Researching the marketplace trends and competitors for client account.
Some administrative needs.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Marketing experience in financial and/or banking services a plus.
