Inside Sales Representative
The Charlotte Observer is seeking Part Time and Full Time Inside Sales Representatives. The candidates will have the following responsibilities.
Sells advertising by telephone to a territory assigned by business classifications. Generates new business while managing current accounts. Sells and recommends advertising programs and budgets to existing and potential advertisers. Develops and grows new business through cold calling and lead generation. Coordinates the creation and preparation of visual sales promotion material with creative graphics when necessary. Utilizes a consultative sales approach through education, training and influencing the client. Analyze client needs and create solutions and recommendations. Meet monthly revenue, product, and sales performance goals.
Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communications. Self motivated with a strong sense of initiative and keen desire to succeed. Aggressive – able to manage high volume outbound sales calls. Ability to work well in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
