2018 Silver Medal Awards Winner Donna Forbes!

Join AAF Charlotte as we celebrate the career and legacy of Donna Forbes, GM, HMH Agency!

About the Silver Medal Award:

The American Advertising Federation's Silver Medal Award Program was established in 1959 to recognize men and women who have made outstanding contributions to advertising and who have been active in furthering the industry's standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern. Annually, AAF Charlotte bestows this honor upon an outstanding member of the local advertising community.

Silver Medal Award Criteria: The Silver Medal winner will be selected by a panel of judges made up of past winners and AAF Charlotte members. Judges use the following criteria when making their selections.           

Contribution to His/Her Company - The recipient must have achieved success in one of the following areas of work: advertising agency, advertiser, media or advertising service.            

Creative Ability - The recipient must have shown a consistent, high degree of original thinking in their field.          

Contributions to the General Advancement of Advertising - The recipient must have worked to increase the stature and raise the standards of the advertising profession.           

Contributions to the Community - The recipient should be someone who has been active in civic, religious, or other groups dedicated to human or social welfare.

When: Tuesday, June 12th from 11:30am to 1pm (Subject to change based upon nominees availability)

Corri is the owner of Black Wednesday, a Charlotte-based marketing and PR company. BW works with retail, restaurant and nonprofit brands to create organic, creative and innovative strategies that engage their target audiences. She also leads a monthly meet up called #instabeerupclt and recently supported the opening of Subsecreto, a coffee and retail shop. With a focus on community, she hopes to help personify brands in order to become more trustworthy, friendly and engaging.
