AAF Student AAAwards & Fund
The American Advertising Awards Competition: Student Division, sponsored is by the Charlotte AAF. It is a unique national awards program designed specially for college students. Work entered at the local level can advance to the regional and national judging, just like the work entered by professionals across the country.
The Fund has been created to financially support local design students by generous donations from Charlotte agencies and professionals to spotlight students and become creative professionals in the market.

National Mosaic Award
The Mosaic Awards recognizes agencies and companies as well as student work that is committed to diversity. The AAF National Mosaic Award Committee with a panel of industry professionals judge entries based on criteria, including an Executive Summary, Situation Analysis, Strategy & Execution and Collateral. The Mosaic Awards are held annually at the AAF's annual national conference.
Student Multicultural Integrated Campaign Category: This student-only category recognizes a series of two (2) or more related campaign media mix that demonstrates the student’s understanding and sensitivity of targeted ethnic audiences and their buying practices and behaviors. This can include any of the listed mediums in the campaign: Broadcast, online, radio, print, mobile, streaming, outdoor and apps ads. Applicants must be enrolled full- or part-time in an accredited U.S. educational institution. Student interns are eligible to enter. Submit work developed specifically for this competition or from previous projects or student contests (work must be created while the entrant is a student not employed in the advertising industry between January 2019-December 2019). Travel and overnight accommodations for one individual will be covered for the selected winner of the student category.
