About the ADDY Awards

The ADDY Awards Competition is our industry’s largest and most representative competition for creative excellence. The Charlotte ADDY Awards is the first of a three-tier, national American Advertising Federation (AAF) competition. A panel of judges from outside the Charlotte region will evaluate each entry, and the number of awards given in each category is based on the relative quality of work in that category. Local Gold winners are forwarded to the AAF District 3 (Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina) to compete. District winners are then forwarded to the third tier to compete in the national ADDYs.
